Anchorage Museum announces call for entries for ”Earth, Fire and Fibre Exhibition XXVII”

Alaska artists who work in the media of clay, fiber, wood, bone, stone, glass and metal are invited to enter “Earth, Fire and Fibre XXVII”. Preliminary judging will be conducted by digital image. Deadline for submissions is June 12.
“Earth Fire and Fibre” is the biennial statewide craft exhibition organized by the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center. This exhibition attracts hundreds of entries from around the state and will be on view Sept. 4, 2009, through January 3, 2010.

”Earth Fire and Fibre” is funded in part by a grant from the Alaska State Council for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, with matching funds provided by BP, the Anchorage Museum Association and the Municipality of Anchorage.
