Anchorage Museum welcomes new history curator

Marilyn Knapp of Sitka recently joined the Anchorage Museum of History and Art as its curator of history. Knapp is responsible for building and interpreting the Museum's history collection and developing exhibitions and related projects. Knapp, a professor at University of Alaska Southeast since 1995, also brings significant museum experience to the position. Her experience includes curatorial projects at the Sheldon Jackson Museum, the Bishop's House, the Sitka Historical Society/Isabel Miller Museum, and the Sitka National Historical Park.
