Museum welcomes new research curator of history

Suzan Campbell, Ph.D. recently joined the Anchorage Museum of History and Art as its first research curator of history responsible for building and interpreting the Museum's history collection, exhibitions and related programs, and conducting original research. Campbell comes to the museum from Santa Fe, N.M., where she was an independent scholar specializing in the cultural history of the American West. She received her Ph.D. in American studies from the University of New Mexico, and has served as guest curator for museums and other institutions around the country.
