The Anchorage Museum welcomes The Imaginarium – Alaska’s hands-on, minds-on discovery center – which will open within the Anchorage Museum in 2010, debuting an all-new facility and planetarium where people of all ages can learn about physics and the natural world.
Beginning in 2010, the museum’s 8,000 square-foot Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center will showcase an unparalleled collection of rare Alaska Native objects, an archaeology laboratory and a cutting-edge combination of video, audio and interactive displays.
