Patricia B. Wolf Solo Exhibition Series
The Anchorage Museum’s Patricia B. Wolf Solo Exhibition Series supports the work and development of Alaska artists, highlighting new bodies of work by individual artists. Exhibiting artists will be selected through a closed process by the Anchorage Museum. Periodically, open calls for submissions to this program will be posted and we encourage you to check back for updates.
There is currently no open call for solo exhibitions. When applications are being accepted, you will see an active link here with instructions for submission. Check back here for updates or follow us on social media. Open calls and deadlines are sent out on our social media platforms.
Artist Interventions/Temporary Installations
The Anchorage Museum is interested in continuing dialogue and working with artists to activate spaces and conversations, as well as to feature ever-changing art forms. The Museum consistently attracts direct engagement by artists and works to curate these opportunities inside the Museum, on the lawn, out in the community and across the globe. Artist interventions take many forms, from readings, to research, conceptual gestures, protests and performances. We work with a variety of media and disciplines, in formal and informal spaces, to support artist actions that prompt, question, play with, and comment on the North, creative practice, institutional practice and relevant issues impacting the community. We work with artists from Alaska and from around the world.
