Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination offers a wide range of hands-on,
educational experiences for students of science, technology, medicine and
environmental engineering.

Scheduling a school tour
School group tours of the Star Wars exhibit are self-guided,
meaning a museum docent will accompany the group and answer
questions, but the teacher leads the class and directs the lesson.
Museum staff will be stationed at various interactive displays
throughout the exhibit to assist students with hands-on activities.

Admission for school groups is $7 per person: That price applies to
students, teachers and chaperones. The discounted rate can only
be obtained by school groups who book tours in advance. School
groups may book tours on Mondays when the museum is closed
to the general public. For more information or to schedule a
group tour, call Katie Kelley at (907) 929-9268 or e-mail
kkelley@anchoragemuseum.org
.

More helpful hints

Plan on at least 90 minutes for your visit to the Star
Wars
exhibit.
Arrange your travel to arrive 15 minutes before your
scheduled tour time to allow for payment, restroom breaks,
coat storage, etc.
Students may bring digital cameras or mobile phones to document their
experience, but must not use flash. Remind students when they are taking pictures to
respect the barriers around displays.
Aspects of this exhibit can be found on three different floors of the museum. You'll find the majority of the exhibit on the third floor of the west wing (new addition). The Robot Object Theatre and robot building lab are on the fourth floor of the west wing (new addition) and the Millennium Falcon simulator is on the first floor of the east wing (original building).
