IMAGINARIUM DISCOVERY CENTER

Imagination and curiosity: These are the foundations for scientific learning.

Through hands-on activities for all ages, the museum's new Imaginarium Discovery Center ignites imaginations and triggers intellectual curiosity.

The center's 80 exhibits and related programs are designed to let people discover science for themselves through fun activities. Many exhibits address scientific topics of particular interest in Alaska: Volcanoes, aurora borealis, marine life and more.

When you visit the Imaginarium, you can touch a sea star, shoot an air cannon, create an earthquake, experiment with gravity and much, much more.
